Reference - Location Codes

Using the location code scheme outlined below will help your store get the most out of Mango. The scheme is derived from Ace's best practices and is the most commonly employed code scheme in stores. For more information see Acenet -> Ace Way of Retailing (make sure you're logged into Acenet).  Your Eagle system can use up to 6 location codes for each SKU, and each location code can have up to 5 characters.

Recommended Location Code Usage
Location Definition Example
Location 1 SKU's primary sales floor location 05R16 (primary)
Location 2

SKU's secondary sales floor location

(if it has one)

13L02 (secondary location)
Location 3 SKU's sales floor shelf capacity
12 (the number of units in both locations that fit on the sales floor. In this example, each location can hold 6).
Location 4 SKU's back stock location
TOP05 (the SKU's back stock location is on the top shelf in aisle 5, for example).

Utilizing this scheme, you will get the most out of Mango's location-driven reports, including its Back Stock Replenishment system, and multi-location SKU maintenance reports.
