Productivity Level 2 - Assortment (target 3% or less)
Assortment Opportunity measures your store's incremental annual sales opportunity if it carried everything (Ace SKUs only) that sold well in other peer stores but are not carried in your store. SKU-level detail is found in your MEGA Report or in your Acenet Cart under Mango Assortment. For example, if your store is showing a 3.2% Assortment Opportunity then your could see an annual sales increase of 3.2% if it added more SKUs. This metric does not take similar SKUs into full account (we're working on that each month) so it is unlikely your store would experience real a 3.2% sales increase, however, this metric is consistently measured across all stores so it is a great at gauging additional sales opportunity your store has compared to targets and peers. We are constantly working on the quality of this metric by reducing similar SKUs and tuning the assortment to your market (Urban, Suburban, Rural, Lumber, etc.). FAQ Q: Will these SKUs automatically be ordered? A: No, these are in a cart but are unchecked. A human needs to select the SKUs and click checkout for them to order. Q: When will these items arrive in my store? A: Checking out the Mango Assortment basket will stock reserve the product ordered. If it is before your order cutoff time, this also reserves the items for shipment on your next Ace truck. Q: When does then SKUs list refresh? A: The window to use this cart is between then 5th and 25th of every month and will refresh each month. Q: Where do these SKUs come from? A: These are the same SKUs listed on your Assortment Tab in your Mango KIM Excel workbook which is emailed monthly. Q: Is there a checkbox that tells Mango to stop reporting a SKU on the Assortment Report for my store? A: No, not yet. If this is a feature you would like to see then please send us a note at support@mangoreport.com. We will be tallying requests for this feature to be added. Q: Are there future integrations planned? A: Yes. There are plans to infuse other KIM worksheet data into the Retail Analytics Dashboard and your Eagle system such as In Stock, and COM with a goal to reduce keyboard labor! Stay tuned!
