This is a critical issue that can significantly impact your bottom line.
This report lists multiple selling unit (MSU) codes with incorrect quantities. This issue can cause, for example, a whole roll of an item to be sold for the price of one foot.
In early 2013, Ace tried to update MSU prices, but a formatting error incorrectly created a new selling unit. For example, as shown in the image below, Ace tried to update SKU 3272929, which has a quantity of 500 and is priced at $54.99. However, instead of updating the SKU's price to $59.99, a new selling unit was created with the new price, but with a quantity factor of 1. If a customer tries to purchase a box of that item and a cashier selects the incorrect selling unit during checkout, the system will calculate a final price of 12 cents (calculated as 1/500 * 59.99).
December 2018 - We are seeing the same issue in sandpaper SKUs.
To resolve this issue, update the list of selling units for your affected SKUs.
