MEGA Report - MSU Code Issues

This is a critical issue that can significantly impact your bottom line.

This report lists multiple selling unit (MSU) codes with incorrect quantities. This issue can cause, for example, a whole roll of an item to be sold for the price of one foot.

To resolve this issue, update the list of selling units for your affected SKUs.

1. In Epicor's Eagle Browser, open Inventory Maintenance.
2. In Inventory Maintenance, enter a SKU from your MSU Issues report and click the Display button.
3. Click the Code tab.
4. Click the Multiple Selling Unit Code link.
             
5. In the list of selling units, identify the incorrect selling unit which has the following details: In this example, we don't want to sell 250 sheets of sandpaper for $11.99.
   • Qty Factor = 1
   • Specific Code Price = the price of a box or roll
          
6. If the price of the incorrect selling unit does not match the price of the correct selling unit, update the price of the correct selling unit. (To do so, click the correct selling unit, click the Change button, enter the new price, and click OK.)
7. Delete the incorrect selling unit. (To do so, click the row for the incorrect selling unit and click the Delete button.)
          
8. Click OK to close the list of selling units for that SKU.
9. Print new bin labels, if necessary, and verify the SKU's quantity on hand in your system matches the actual quantity on the shelves.
10. Repeat the previous steps for each SKU listed in your MSU Issues report.
