Top Promotion & Discounts - Office Exceptions
This report highlights the top items sold last month for less than full retail, or below cost. These transactions were rung on promotion (in MIP or with <Ctrl + P> key), on a discount (either a <ctrl + D>, an MSU discount, quantity break, retail override or through a Category Pricing Plan), or had a cost error in IMU. Please note, transactions receiving coupons or trade discounts are not measurable at the SKU level by Mango and are therefore not included in this report. The purpose of this report is to quickly scan for pricing or point-of-sale errors causing your Eagle to report an erroneous gross profit margin. Errors should be corrected and/or reversed through POS to correct the margin mistake (unless the correction is in a new fiscal period).
Note: BOGO SKUs are listed because vendor rebates are not attributed back to cost of goods at the SKU level. At this time, Mango has no way of excluding these items.
Items marked with * were sold via acehardware online.
Items marked with ** were sold at a promotional discount via Closeout Management (COM).
Units Sold: the total number of units the SKU sold for the month.
Units Promo: the number of units sold on promotion (either ctrl+P or in MIP).
Sales: the net sales dollars for the SKU for the month.
Average Price: the SALES column divided by the UNITS SOLD column.
Margin: this the average margin for the SKU for the month.
Net Discount: this column shows the total dollar discount given vs. if the SKU was purchased at full retail.
